Marstall Festzelt
Marstall

In 2014, Siegfried and Sabine Able succeded Sepp Krätz in operating the beer tent formerly known as "Hippodrom". Before, they ran the smaller tent "Kalbskuchl". The name of the new tent "Marstall" is derived from the horse-riding school build by architect Leo von Klenze who himself named the school after the horse race that took place on the very first Oktoberfest to honor the marriage of Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. Bavarian food and beer is served in the Marstall Festzelt and bavarian music is played by the two bands „Münchner Zwietracht“ and „Oberbayern“ - accoustic style during the daytime and a bit more rock'n'roll in the evenings.
